Description
Centrifuge the vial before opening. Reconstitute to a concentration of 0.1-0.5 mg/mL in sterile distilled water. Avoid votex or vigorously pipetting the protein. For long term storage, it is recommended to add a carrier protein or stablizer (e.g. 0.1% BSA, 5% HSA, 10% FBS or 5% Trehalose), and aliquot the reconstituted protein solution to minimize free-thaw cycles.
Background
HAVCR2 also known as TIM3(T cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain-3) is belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily, and TIM family of proteins. CD4-positive T helper lymphocytes can be divided into types 1 (Th1) and 2 (Th2) on the basis of their cytokine secretion patterns. Th1 cells are involved in cell-mediated immunity to intracellular pathogens and delayed-type hypersensitivity reactions, whereas, Th2 cells are involved in the control of extracellular helminthic infections and the promotion of atopic and allergic diseases. This protein is a Th1-specific cell surface protein that regulates macrophage activation, and inhibits Th1-mediated auto- and alloimmune responses, and promotes immunological tolerance. Its binding to Galectin-9 induces a range of immunosuppressive functions which enhance immune tolerance and inhibit anti-tumor immunity .

Protein Description
Recombinant Mouse TIM-3/HAVCR2/CD366 Protein is produced by HEK293 cells expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Arg20-Arg191) of mouse TIM-3 (Accession #NP_599011.2) fused with a 6×His tag at the C-terminus.
Protein Bio Activity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Recombinant Mouse TIM-3 at 2 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Anti-TIM-3 antibody with a linear range of 0.5-1.5 μg/mL.
