Description	Human coronavirus OC43 (HCoV-OC43) is one of seven known coronaviruses to infect humans. The virus is an enveloped, positive-sense, single-stranded RNA virus which enters its host cell by binding to the N-acetyl-9-O-acetylneuraminic acid receptor. It is one of the viruses responsible for causing common cold in humans. The spike protein of HCoV-OC43 with subunits S1 and S2 is responsible for receptor binding and membrane fusion.
