Fluorescein-labeled anti-HA epitope antibody TAG 100ug

FITC-Labeled Anti-HA Epitope Tag. Chickens were immunized with a synthetic peptide containing the HA epitope tag - YPYDVPDYA - conjugated to keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH). The sequence of this peptide corresponds to residues #98-106 of the influenza hemagglutinin protein. After repeated injections, immune eggs were collected from the hens, and the IgY fractions were purified from the yolks. These IgY fractions were then affinity-purified using an agarose matrix to which the cognate peptide was attached. Eluates of this column were dialyzed against PBS, and then conjugated to fluorescein using its isothiocyanate form (FITC). Fluorescein-labeled antibody was separated from free FITC using gel exclusion chromatography (Sephadex G-50), and the protein concentration was adjusted to 0.1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide. Finally, the preparation was filter-sterilized.
