Buffer	Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in ddH2O.
Storage Conditions	Lyophilized protein should be stored at -20˚ C, though stable at room temperature for 3 weeks. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-7˚ C for 2-7 days. Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at -20˚ C for 3 months.

Background	The CD70 is a cytokine that belongs to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. This cytokine is a ligand for TNFRSF27/CD27. It is a surface antigen on activated, but not on resting, T and B lymphocytes. It induces proliferation of costimulated T cells, enhances the generation of cytolytic T cells, and contributes to T cell activation. This cytokine is also reported to play a role in regulating B-cell activation, cytotoxic function of natural killer cells, and immunoglobulin sythesis.
