Description	The antibody reacts with an 80kD glycoprotein, the human antigen CD44, H-CAM. The CD44 antigen is present on T-lymphocytes, granulocytes, brain, red blood cells and epithelial cell lines. The antibody reacts with the same epitope as Hermes-1 on the molecule, which is a leucocyte adhesion molecule, (hyaluronan receptor), participating at homing.
Formulation	100 ug / 0.5 ml antibody solution with sodium-azide. A highly purified grade of BSA has been added as a stabilizing protein to bring the final protein concentration to 4-5 mg/ml. Sufficient for a minimum of 100 tests. Precaution: Sodium azide is a poisonous and hazardous substance which should be handled by trained staff only.
Storage and Stability	Store at 2-8C for short term storage and at -20C for long term storage. Aliquot and avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Fluorochrome conjugates should be stored in the dark and direct exposure to light should be avoided during handling and cell staining.
