SARS-CoV-2 Surface GP A2 1220-1228 (HLA-A*02:01)

Coronavirus disease 2019, known as COVID-19, is an infectious desease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), a virus closely related to the SARS virus. The virus structure consists of RNA, membrane glycoprotein (M), hemagglutinin-esterease dimer (HE), envelope protein (E), nucleocapsid protein (N), spike or surface glycoprotein (S) and others. The surface glycoprotein is present on the coronavirus envelope and it binds to the ACE2 protein on the host cell surface. SARS-CoV-2 Surface GP A2 1220–1228 (HLA-A*02:01) is a linear peptidic epitope studied as part of surface glycoprotein from severe acute respiratory syndrome-related coronavirus.
