Background	T lymphocytes displaying the natural killer (NK) cell marker CD57 (also designated Leu7) on their cell surface are distinguishable from other T cell subsets by their granular lymphocyte morphology and their clonal expansion in patients with AIDS and in recipients of bone marrow transplantation. CD57-positive cells have also been shown to localize to sites of certain tumors and large numbers of these cells are detected in the synovial fluid from patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis.
Product	1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2.
Purification and Purity	The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Storage and Stability	Store at 4C short term. Aliquot and store at -20C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity	CD57 (V35) pAb detects endogenous levels of CD57 protein.
